ME, MYSELF, AND WE (WITHOUT YOU)

Me, myself and maybe him

But oops!! I forgot that he’s just a friend

But his body so right and his swag stupid tight

It’s a sin to love on things pleasing to the eye.

Lust that is, but I swear that he the ish, and I’ll give anything to be his five star chick.

But hold on let me not lose my place

I’m an independent woman with a goddess face

A body of a bottlel, plus a walk like a model

I hold my head high so it never bobbles

So every man wanna grab me, any man would love to have me

That’s why I’ll never be stuck on the lasty

Ladies let this be a reminder of who you are

You rise above them all, you a superstar

Never let a man degrade you or break you

Remind him that he’s not the only one, you can find you another boo

Or two maybe three and even a few more if they’re free

Yea, a few, that’ll do and it’ll be so true

That you, yes the dudes, would lose

Me, a queen, a love machine, a bestie, a lover, the best undercover

So watch what you say to me and control what you do

Cuz I promise it won’t be hard to replace you

I will look right over you and place you to the side

And it will only be me, myself, and I

Or him and him and maybe even your friends

Because they got real and realized to see

That I’m the best there will ever be

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
