    I Stand Alone

    I Stand Alone

Forever alone is my destiny I stand alone on the mountain top high above all the others. I’m surround by many people but I stand out as clear as day. I am alone as a cheetah on a hunt; I am alone know one to love me. I feel like I’m by my self up here. I stand-alone to the bone craving the warm touch of another; alone as a full moon. I’m so alone I stand out like and unwanted puzzle piece. I stand alone like one scoop of ice cream on a cone. I am alone with only my thoughts to keep me company I stand alone. I am the cat that walk by her self I am truly alone.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
