    In the Spirit Of Giving

    In The Spirit of Giving

I once knew a man with an amazing tale to share
He served in Vietnam, and lost many friend
His wife and 3 children were killed just 3 weeks after his return by a drunk driver...
How he spent many years drunk, doped up,and lost
He tried to forget, but the pain was too much
His fateful night, when he swear's he met Jesus
This man you'd never think he'd been down that road
He was parishoner in church, did outreach service's
He died last fall of liver damage from drinking
    But hadn't drank in 20 yrs,I know!
He was my uncle and I love him so much
Now I know he's not sad,he's in heaven
With his wife an kid's he never stopped missing!
