    (into) the night

    she left.....
    exchanged messages and vain statements
    to further justify and rationalize
conceptions, and what seem to be logical reasons
    to sever all ties...
    manipulation, confusion and degradation.
pain driven by complexities in the mind.
    Questions of fate...
    questions of love...

    questions of kindness....
    and murderous interchanges of vanity
    spread between two souls.
The seed was planted and the reaction
    forthright.
she left, like friends and others who have come and gone...
    slipped gently
    into the night

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
