Isaac Brock
If God made the rulesThen who made the laws
And if laws make a citizen
Then who made us all
Not to say that I care much
at all
People are as strange as
they seem
Lines are so thin
I feel like I'm living
out of a dream
and its cold

If God made the rulesPoetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
