It was nice to have met your acquaintance,
even though it was well past due.
Corny but true, it feels like forever I've known you.
Something about your presence takes me back to my childhood.
A burst of excitement that puts me in a good mood.
You walk into a room and I'm captured by your subtle attraction,
which could be fatal if I'm moved to action.
I don't want to put you in an awkward position by making mention that
this crush is non-fiction. To bring it to your attention could damper our
friendship. And that one thing I'm not trying to risk.
Sometimes you make me sick, but I honestly
could see us in a relationship.
