Lay me down
Lay me down and I will close my eyeslet me rest with you by my side
You are the one I waited for so long
hold me, hold me close from now on
I will not rest till you are here to stay
and tell me you will never go away
If I wake in the morning to find you gone
promise me you will not leave for too long
Therefore I can go on dreaming forever and ever
when you return wake me from my slumber
Then I know you will stay for the rest of your life
lay me down and I will rest by your side
Let us dream in each other arms from now on
this is the home where we both belong
There is no other place I would rather be
to have you rest forever right beside me.
