Life

Life is a road that is twisted and turned

Children of the sun grow up and get burned

We should treasure our past but still travel light

And beware of who's doors we knoch in the night

I know I have friends, I'm never alone

But I'm a wonderer,

The road is my home

Very short...and great! Sometimes to me short poems are more dramatic than long ones!!! Keep it up!

I like this one....short and sweet....I like the way you compare life to a twisted road, that is so true. Nice work

great pome, I like how you use your words. Keep up the good work.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
