    Light Change

    Smoke filled thoughts,
    lighter than the preceding mood
    which was upon me
    Now I can notice
    the truest blue sky
    and know I am
    breathing todays air
    Let the small smile stretch
    my weary old face
Now I can lay the dragons to bed
    and laugh at myself
while I let my spirits rise
