Listen

i might today at your mercy be,
in the middle of your arms, my life you could crush,
i might tomorrow your blessing be,
your future through my eyes you may see,
treat well those you meet on your way up,
on your way down, you, they won't beat to pop
sharing, the beauty of life is,
your bearing you may find amidst life's snares
eat not my food,
reject the drink from my cup
for you, they might not be good...
eat my words, let them fill your world,
face your fear and shed no tear,
your ears to listen are good,
if only the top you want to cop.
