    Little I

Who are you little I ?
You're getting bigger, so am I,
    You love to color pictures,
    and love to play,
roll around in dirt all day,
    animals fascinate you,
    to the bone,
you never want to come home,
hot dogs, peanut butter, macaroni & cheese,
but no spinach for me please,
you are small, yet growing larger,
    your imagination wilder and wilder,
    I hope you will remember,
    this child of your past,
    to make you imagination last,
I just have one last question,
who are you little I ?
    who?

    unique and creative-- nice

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
