    Looking

Day and night, I dream of who you are,
whether you'll be sweet, and always cool
but time is just too precious to think that far
and in the present, I'd look like a fool

To search for you with an open heart,
will lead to shattered times, a wounded soul,
but I'll make that decision, I'll play my part,
Because to find you in the end, is worth the toll

I know your funny, and pretty, and nice
and though it's not right now, it will come true
the tears, the pain, they will suffice
because we both know, your looking for me too.
