Love Spell
From afar you can see a forestSo eerie, dark, and cold
But living within is a bantam pixie
Whose soul never grows old
Pixilated was this pixies whole world
Fragmented and torn
Emptiness invaded her heart
As broken were many a promise sworn
Weeping she lay inside
Each teardrop nourishing the beautiful lily
Her breaths grew short, very shallow
As she realized her dreams were naïve, so silly
Her tiny hands shadowed her face
For in that moment she lost her faith in life
She abandoned herself in the disbelief of happinesss existence
In the very midst of all her pain and strife
A handsome black raven flew overhead
His keen eye catching this tiny one in a great deal of sorrow
He plucked her out of the tiger lily bed
Tucking her safely under his wings into the light of tomorrow
Soaring high above all he showed her the world
That she never knew apart from a blade of grass
The warmth of the sun radiating into her soul
Rectifying what had once been but broken glass
He befriended this diminutive angel with wings of her own
Whod forgotten what it was like to fly
She once soared with the sound of laughter from the other pixies
Whose friendships had all been but an unjust lie
Landing softly for the first time she and he
Watched the sun take a graceful bow
He set her free from the pain
For it vanished for that flight, somehow
She warmed herself in his feathers
She felt a wet droplet and assumed it was rain
But upon further examination she discovered a tear in his eye
He housed in his heart much of his own pain
With a bit of pixie dust she sprinkled over his head
Relinquishing him of this agony internal
Enduring now he only a calming mind of peace
His heart yearning for her love exclusively eternal
His glowing ember eyes turning a softer shade
A kiss so tender this raven received on his beak
A pixie prince then transformed as this pixies kiss
Was the solvent to the evil spell he for years did desperately seek
Rescued they had each other no doubt
Lit was the passion that is too intimate to tell
Together forever they themselves became bound
By their own unintentional love spell
