Catharsis
Guilt toils, tinkers, grasps a guilty soul
Blasphemy draws its web forcing its costly toll
Weathered and pained apologies come awry
Scrawled by effort for storms and many clouds did cry
Faced unjustly decisions that could maim
A shaking heart quivered, none that could tame
Treed beneath the rivers raging hold
Frightened, torn, was a soul blue cold
Beckoned to a gated place eternal
Bouquets left for the forgotten fraternal
Lay, rest aside this eerily comforting place
Where rests the sorrow, an angel now fallen from grace
Emotional tornado whirling about so displaced
A tongue left with only a sour pharmaceutical taste
Crashing booms from the wrath of the self-existent one
Bolts of lightning flashing as destiny had never begun
Lost amongst the living, unbelonging with the dead
Torn from a mortal realm so much love left unspread
Infinitely in limbo eternally cut from fate
Goal undone, wings torn, spirit unable to levitate
Awakened now but from the dream terrorist there’s no escape
Upon each flicker of hope its sickle will excitedly rape
Blessed is not this being who bleeds a million wounds
Darkness took an interest forcing said subject multiple swoons
Bandaged, bruised, broken and used
Fallen prey, victim to the standing accused
Whispering a gentle pray of forgiveness and guidance
Lasts breaths taken before bowing to final subsidence
