You Will Never Know
I want you so much.
I yearn to feel your touch.
You are oblivious to the state I'm in when you walk into the room.
How I can't stop staring at you.
I know it must be obvious to others how I fawn.
But nevertheless I try to keep my feelings hidden.
I fear what you will say and how you will react
when the secret of my heart spills out into the open.
I want you to kiss me and say you feel the same,
but I know that is impossible because I am invisible and you will never see.
I try to fight what I am feeling
but it is so hard to do,
when you look at me and I just stare right back at you
with love in my eyes.
To you I am just a friend,
nothing more.
But to me you are the world,
and you will never know.
