Man in the Moon

Man in the Moon

Man in the moon
I wish you could see,
All the love I hold
within me.

Man in the moon
I wish you could speak,
To tell me the things and
the answers I seek.

Man in the moon
I wish you could hear,
The sounds of my heart
that I hold so dear.

Man in the moon
I wish you could smell,
To snuff out the feelings
I hide so well.

Man in the moon
I wish you could feel,
To know the pain of a
heart trying to heal.

Man in the moon
I wish you could touch,
To experience the things
I love so much.

Man in the moon
I wish you knew me,
And the wonderful person
I've come to be.

But, Man in the moon
What do you know,
To you my world is but
a picture show.
