    My Lover

    My Love,

    It doesn’t matter that we’re far apart,

    You’ve always held the key to my heart.

    You were always there for me when I needed to cry,

    You always made me feel special though I never knew just why.

    I thought my love was unwanted and you thought of me no more,

    Now I feel our love blooming and I need you as much as before.

    My heart was in pieces and you’ve picked them up yet again,

    Now that you’re part of my life I know my heart will mend.

    I only that you’ll love me and keep me safe in your arms,

    I hope you’ll be there for me and always protect me from harm.

    You are the one for me and I know it’s true,

    So I’ll love and cherish you for now and forever through.

     

    I love you more than you’ll ever know.
