To the One I Love
Since we said our first hello's I felt it
from the start,
It's like you took your hand and encased my
broken heart.
You're showing me things that I have never
known,
And I feel as though I am no longer alone.
With the passion and tenderness our love has
stirred,
I love you more than I could put into words.
You mean the world to me my love,
And I thank the good Lord up above.
For all that you've done and for just being
there,
And the kindness you've shown tells me you
care.
The love that you're giving is all new to
me,
But I pray to God that's the way it will
always be.
