Misrepresented
I feel so misrepresented,
As I sit here, thinking, in bed.
I want not to be this blue;
Wishing what others saw was true:
A life filled with the greatest love,
Like an angel sent from above.
Filled with never ending happiness;
Seeing the world with joy and bliss.
They think I feel no pain:
Seeing sunny skies; not the rain.
A life as sweet as the morning dew,
They'd pity me if, the truth, they knew.
In life I truly dread,
Just to get out of bed.
Everything seams to go from bad to worse;
Real life feels like nothing more than a curse.
My body aches from hurt and pain,
My nerves always under stress and strain.
Never able to get ahead;
Always to be misrepresented.
As I sit here, thinking, in bed.
I want not to be this blue;
Wishing what others saw was true:
A life filled with the greatest love,
Like an angel sent from above.
Filled with never ending happiness;
Seeing the world with joy and bliss.
They think I feel no pain:
Seeing sunny skies; not the rain.
A life as sweet as the morning dew,
They'd pity me if, the truth, they knew.
In life I truly dread,
Just to get out of bed.
Everything seams to go from bad to worse;
Real life feels like nothing more than a curse.
My body aches from hurt and pain,
My nerves always under stress and strain.
Never able to get ahead;
Always to be misrepresented.
