    Your Love

    You were always the quiet one.
    With your own since of playful fun.
    Just to see your tender smile,
    I would walk a country mile.
    The touch of your hand, so gentle,
    Would make my heart strings pull.
    One look from your tender eyes,
    Would make my heart soar into the skies.
    Your hugs, so warm and strong,
    Seamed to last the whole day long.
    Your kisses, the softest I had ever felt;
    Just one would make my heart begin to melt.
    And whenever you would hold me,
    I knew that was where I was meant to be.
    I could feel your love through your touch...
    When it comes to your love, I could never get enough.
    I want to be yours till the end of time;
    I love you so much, it should be a crime.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

    John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
