    Missing You

I wonder where you are tonight, the darkness waxes cold.
Alone here eyes drip blurring sight, my hearts sad story told.
I rue the thought of holding you, I guess because I'm can't.
Emptiness splits my love in two, emotions warped and spent.
I trudge along the days drift past, day turns into night.
Time to pass, spanning vast, another month to drop from sight.

Do you feel this pain I bare?
Or have you just moved on.
Could you miss my love and care?
    Or are you truly gone.

I hope someday our paths draw near, your eyes again see.
Will the world stop spinning for just us two...
or will you even notice me?
I wish I knew just how you felt, am I even on your mind?
I wish I knew you missed me too, our hearts move still entwined.
I guess it’s true that Love is blind, or totally insane.
Why we chase another touch, and go through so much pain.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
