Missing You
As my head lays down to rest
and my eyes they close to sleep,
there's a mem'ry of a beautiful girl
that into my dreams creep
But where is she hiding during the daylight hours?
Where is she hiding during the dalight hour?
A million miles of road and land sep'rates her from me
It's love
She is always on my mind
interlaced with every thought
but her absence from my arms
seems to rip my being apart
How can we conquer the span of a million miles?
Can we conquer the span of a million miles?
The calling of our distant hearts, pulling her to me
WE're here
The separations wrong
She's held here in my arms
The million miles is gone
And everything is just as it should be.
and my eyes they close to sleep,
there's a mem'ry of a beautiful girl
that into my dreams creep
But where is she hiding during the daylight hours?
Where is she hiding during the dalight hour?
A million miles of road and land sep'rates her from me
It's love
She is always on my mind
interlaced with every thought
but her absence from my arms
seems to rip my being apart
How can we conquer the span of a million miles?
Can we conquer the span of a million miles?
The calling of our distant hearts, pulling her to me
WE're here
The separations wrong
She's held here in my arms
The million miles is gone
And everything is just as it should be.
