The Twilight Dreamer
He is the Twilight Dreamer
Awake in Hours Late
Of thoughts he is a seamer
He loves the dreams he makes
And He is thinking of her
in the moon's silver glow
he's missing her presence
that's why his dreams are so
her face runs through his mind
and a smile graces her lips
never was time so kind
as her hand slips into his
And he's thinking of his love
as the sun reveals it's light
he can't miss her enough
but the day relieves his plight
He ventures forth outside
and goes about his way
to her he will confide
thoughts his heart wants conveyed
that he loves her so much more
than words could ever say
without her he is nothing
when with her he's amazed
together they embrace life
and as the day wears on
they solve problems; banish strife
but when the light is gone
with sorrow they must depart
and go their separate way
to their own home they do return
tomorrows a new day.
