    moisture

    Its cleansing, very cleansing,
    And dangerous, dangerous too.
But in all its cleansing, purging,
What am I supposed to do?

Is it enough this weeping, weeping,
    This expunging of the soul,
Is it enough to balm the heartache?
,Is it enough to make me whole?

When my eyes are tired and grasping
For all in front and retro too,
When the tears have cured and hardened,
What am I supposed to do?

that would make a great song. i enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
