    Orange

Through out the years I've been on this earth,
I've been clothed with many a hue.
No particular claim to a shade or tint,
    Almost any color would do.

No notion I've had, to refuse any fad,
If a color was out or was in.
But, I'm gonna start now, cause I'm takining a vow,
That I'll never wear orange again.

Its not that it clashes with my skin or eyes,
Or with my "season" it just doesn't jibe.
Its just that I'm tired of all thats transpired,
And the "feelings" it brings to life.

So, you'll never see that color on me,
    Regardless of any new trend.
Its all in the past, this decision will last,
    I'll never wear Orange again!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
