Moments

Moments in time are precious,
The bad or the straight or the gray,
From the moment a life is awoken,
To the moment a life hits the hay.

The moments that some see as priceless,
When smiles are upon every face.
The moments that seem so depressive,
And when everthing's just out of place.

A moment in life can be simple,
Although it may seem rather plain,
Then again it may be complicated,
Their the ones that drive people insane.

But moments should be seen as they are,
They're the times in our lives as they seem.
If the peace is always kept in nature,
Then the happiness is what we redeem.

Very brilliantly written! It is a very valuable thing to acknowledge the significance of 'now', and you have done so perfectly. A superb piece of writing beyond doubt.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
