    My Angel

    Spiraling out of control
with nothing to grab ahold to
    Downward I fall
Deeper into the pit of despair
Asking for a miracle to be bestowed upon me
Wishing for my screams to be heard
Seeing all these faces laughing at me
as they spit in my face
    Finally I give up
Tell myself I can't take it anymore
    finding solace in contemplating suicide
Then a strong hand grasps me
Pulling me from the whirlwind before it devours me
The face before me so beautiful
that it has to be an angel standing before me
With eyes that shine of love and the brightest summer sky
The voice so soothing it would calm the wildest of storms
The angel's arms wrapped around me
    and I began to weep
Never have I felt so loved and serene
    Life never looked so promising
As I wept My Angel lifted me and carried me away
    Away from pain and despair
    Away from those spiteful faces
He bathed me and combed my hair
Dressed me in fresh clean clothes
My Angel then kissed my lips
Weak in the knees I became
    Only wanting more
    For nothing matters
    Just this moment
As he caressed my weary body renewed I felt
Passion and Love swept through me with the force of an earthquake
Then I realized My Angel was my destiny
And forever I would feel all the love in the world
Forever wrapped in the arms of My Angel
He, the only one to battle for my soul
The only one to take away all my pain
    Never again to feel despair
Forever and Always My Angel and I
    Together, loving as one!!
