My Best Friend

You say you'll be fine,
you always are,
but I see your fire burning out,
My guiding light, my shooting star.
I know you're hurting, it's plain to see.
I'm here for you as you are for me.
I love you darling, my best friend,
I'll be here always, 'til the end.
