    My dream

    Finally, dusk is here,
    yet so many unfinished tasks
    there were hardships and woes
    sorrows and worries
yet there was joy and happiness
    fulfillment and success
but there is hope for tomorrow,
and from great thinkers I must borrow
if a am to survive another day
    in whatever way
    regardless of what you say
    I won't sway
from the path I have set
for the trophy is in sight
    all shiny and bright
for when the time is right
    whether day or night
    I shall assert my right
    with all my might
    to be treated right
    and to hold tight
    this my trophy
    this my dream
a dream still young but strong
one that can never be wrong
    a perfect dream
    my dream!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
