    Poem Commentary

    Man can only see whats on the outside but God is truly the only one that knows our hearts desire. He sees the areas where we struggle but truly have a desire to be like Him in every sense of the word. My heart's prayer is to be more and more like Christ in so much so that man sees less and less the mortal that is visible.

    MY HEARTS PRAYER

     Father, as I continue to examine myself;
    I realize how much more I need Your help;
    In You Lord I put all my trust;
    The Holy One of Israel, You are my righteousness.

    Your way is perfect, Oh God;
    in my distress I cried out unto You;
    and You were faithful to answer my call.

    I long for You to teach me, guide me,
    show me the light of Thy way;
    may Your gift of salvation; be truly evident in my transformation;
    this is my heart's prayer everyday...
