Poem Commentary

I wrote this poem for my husband when we first started dating.

My Special Place

There is somewhere I’d like to take you
Somewhere with lots of space
There will always be room for you
Come with me to my special place

This palce isn’t fancy
Nor is it far
Just look into my eyes
And there you are

There is somewhere I’d like to take you
Somewhere we will never be apart
There will always be room for you
Come with me into my heart
