NATURAL DESIRE OF A MAN
A man was born with the natural desire to take care of women, but what happens when this desire is taken away or displaced? Let me explain, when a man or should I say young boy meets a girl that he is attracted too, he will usually give her something to let her now he likes her. Maybe he lets her ware his jacket or maybe he gives her a cute letter or buys her some candy or gives her a teddy bear. The point is he will want to give her something to show this. Well let’s talk about how this desire becomes displaced. This usually starts as a child and goes thru adulthood. This can happen with an over barring mother that won’t let her son be a boy or never lets him make any choices in his life. Then we have the music that tells them over and over, that if they do give anything to a woman well then they are considered to be a sucker or a lame or just not cool. And if they do give her anything she is expected to do all sorts of Lucite acts to get it. Then we have what I think is the biggest and saddest problem of all. We have the women that feel the need to buy the guys attention or affection, let me explain. I have a son 22 and 6 nephew from the age 22 to 26; well they all were raised in a very nice area with people around them that had lots money. Well needless to say we did not have a lot of money just a lot of working to keep them in good schools. The young women around them would shower them with nice gifts pay cell phone bills, even give them money and let them drive their new cars. Well needless to say they learned very young how to get what they wanted from these girls. So to try and keep them grounded was very hard because they were always being given the thing we could not afford to give them from these women and young girls. And this leads to the displacement of that natural desire they have to take care of what’s theirs. So this is a lesson for women. It’s ok to help your man and take some of the weight off him, especially with the economy being in the shape it’s in. But we do well to remember it is his job to provide for his family and if he becomes comfortable with you doing it all, and him not putting in his all, than that’s a problem. Unless this is your arrangement that you are the main provider for the household, then that’s your decision. But let’s remember that this was a natural desire given to them from God. So as women and mothers lets not be taking away what God has given.NATURAL DESIRE OF A MAN

- Bravo. I heard Dr Alan Poussaint speak and he said one of the main problems with today's young men is the mothers telling them "You don't need to take care of that woman let her take care of you." Then saying these same women get upset when they or their female children get the shaft. You put it very nicely.

- Whoa Sister, Strong Write...respectfully I'm not sure I agree in totality, its hard to know what GOD has meant for a man unless you have walked in those shoes, but I do believe in providing for my love ones, but not is not my sole destiny, I need help in tending the garden and I think we get that lost sometimes...but that being said...this is as I said a Strong and Powerful Write and I enjoyed reading it....Thanks!
