  • I'm gonna be dumping random thangents, thoughts in my mind I just have to let out. I hope no one minds, but thoughts are poetry right?

Poem Commentary

So this poem was written at school in an outside area we call a "rose garden" I sat on the rocks, felt the wind, and boom, this was born.

Nature And I

As I sit on this stone,
Far from home,
The wind tickling my hair,
I close my eyes,
And feel at ease.

My soul has been mellowed,
By this gentle breeze.
The Sun on my shoulders,
Gives me a squeeze.
"Let's go Lad,"
He says to me,
Extending his hand,
In the form of a tree.

I soar to the clouds,
Speak to the sky,
At one, Nature and I,
Till I decide...
...To die.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
