New Life
Aware that our love
Is slipping away
The expected arrival
The final day
As the last bit of love
That stubbornly remained
Gives up the lost fight
And silently fades
To a place non exisitant
Created only in ones mind
There is nothing to locate
Nothing to find
To search for the loss
Is what one might do
But frequent reminders
Force nothing but truth.
Denial is impossible
As you reflect looking back
Accurately reliving
The truth of the past
Recalling for a moment
The events of your life
Forcing peaceful acceptence
And the start of New Life
