A malicious word too many blacks
A word used to degrade our ancestors.
Who were stolen from the Mother Land (Africa)
Brought to America, then oppressed by slavery.
Slave masters use the word (Nigger) with arrogance
Telling them when they must shit, piss, and
Even when to wipe their butts.
Their where brutally murdered, robbed, and raped.
They took our women, culture, riches, and family roots away
While my ancestors called out in pain.
Nevertheless some stood strong and held their faith in God.
Others couldn’t, so they killed they children and
Afterwards took their own lives.
Four hundred years ago, the word “Nigger”,
Was used to keep our enslaved brothers and sisters down.
Still today in the modern world “Nigger”,
Is a word of chaos to many.
To me the word was unkind, during my ancestor’s time
Knowing that their endured all that pain and discomfort.
After 400 years of slavery.
But on the other hand I view the word “Nigger”, as a symbol
Of strength towards blacks.
Because my ancestors were vexed and full of hate towards
their Slave masters.But yet still they stood strong under
such Cruelty. Now the chains are released, many are still
stuck in slavery Not physically, but mentally.
“A slave is a slave if he can’t think independently”
