The Journey

The Journey

I see myself on a stage many times.
Chanting joyfully, for the many people
As I sit and recite my words of wisdom,
I can’t help to notice the pain inside of me
More than just agony, distress, and anguish
A burning flame rages within me more than I could bear
This flame was feeling so right, but yet it felt offal
Now I’m glad to know that the flame within me could be
release Free from myself thinking all these years I was
worthless Not knowing the talents my God have given to me
As a child growing up it seem like the world was a place of
peace. Now it’s like everyone’s been mark by the beast
The war and genocides will not cease amongst my people
Poor people suffering, no one there to lend a hand
Fighting for the land of my ancestors, leaders of the
nation misleading the population all I see is man versus
man, no one willing to surrender It’s like the heart of man
was never tender No feelings of remorse, everyone does as there will
How long shall we carry on like this my people?
Is there a remedy for this problem or May I say predicament
Trials and tribulation occur on the path way to life
But father God does not give one more than there can bear.
Enlarge your vision, anything is possible.

As poets sometimes we can see the evil and the good in this world more clearly than some other people can.We offer our talents to inspire others and perhaps to help people rise above prejudices, hatred and negative influences and learn to be more loving and compassionate to one another(in time creating a better world).Another great poem. You have an amazing talent,my friend.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
