None of that matters

    None of that matters

    Our life together will be a roller coaster, there is no doubt;
    I will bi**h; you will pout.
    But, none of that matters when we go to sleep;
    None of that matters, our love is too deep.

    We will fight; that is a fact;
    I will try to push you away, you know that.
    But, none of that matters when we go to sleep;
    None of that matters, our love is too deep.

    We will kiss and hold hands;
    We will write our names in the beechy sands.
    All of that matters when we go to sleep;
    And, it is all because our love is so deep.

    You love me, I love you.
    Because of this, through everything, you shall get through.
    This is all that matters when we go to sleep;
    And, we will continue to fall deep.

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
