Numb Snow
Numb snow,
red tears fall;
staining life
into slumber.
Temperatures drop,
water forms crystals;
frozen life
endless exile.
Winter comes
full white blanket;
icy stairs
death daggers.
Hidden valleys,
Fresh frost heaves;
cover life
frozen tundra.
The gentle wind
cries silently;
bitter chill
deaths
dissolute pill.
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
