OUR FREEDOM

OUR FREEDOM

It was the morning of destruction
that fateful September day
Our lives our faith would never be the same
Our towers fell our people lost
The President wanted to declare war
but there were those who bulked
even when the enemy mocked
knocking at our door.

There have been wars
since the beginning of time
even on our shores
the Indians, our sons and fathers too
Vietnam  across the seas
Germany and all across our lands

Wars protect our freedom
that's what we're fighting for
Our lives, our rights
we must keep them in sight
or America will be no more.
