I was born and raised in KY, and moved to FL in 1998. I live on a small farm with my family and lots of animals, always giving delight and never a dull moment. Although there are sad times when we lose one of them. Unlike most farm animals these are our pets down to the chickens and they are treated as such. I own four of the eight equine that live on the farm my sister and mom own the rest, yet I take care of and feed them every day, but it is a joy to be around them. I recently lost one my mares her name was Shatona (her name means My Beautiful Sunshine Girl) my beautiful golden girl is gone but she left behind a foal for me to care for her name is Savannah Rain she is almost Three months old and quite a hand full, she keeps me busy if not for her I think I would fall apart.
