    Out of Control
    Thoughts of pain
    Thoughts in vain
    Thoughts driving us insane
    Short circuiting your brain
    Feeling the drain
    From all the strain
    Any efforts are seemingly in vain
    Racing thoughts running through
    Things you should and shouldn't do
    Refraining from all you really want to
    Act upon and it's hard
    To gain the self control to carefully play each card
    you want to react - impulse
    Sometimes there's nothing else
    Reactions quickly come
    Before anything can be done
    Here you go again
    Right where you began

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
