Passion

Passion

Love is a passion everlasting,
A world of redemption for those who have failed;
Wanting to know you as you know yourself,
I wait for you here on the darkest of nights,

How wonderful it must be, what you see
When you wake in the morning, and fall into slumber each night
I want to know you as you know yourself,
to hear what you hear, to smell what you smell

All you deserve I could never live up to,
I struggle to give you all the love you are worth,
Love is a Passion, not an Obsession,
a feeling only described by the act of a touch,
I find it remarkable, the medicinal feeling
of my fingers through your hair as you drift off in peace,

This one made me mistey eyed....very good one. Reading some of your work has got me wanting to write again.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
