    PEACE

     

    Look around this world my friend what is it you see

    The beauty of Mother Nature and all this is free

    We take it all for granted we never want to share

    It only takes a little love to show the world we care

     

    Plant a little happiness sow some seeds of love

    Scatter a little friendship, free that snow-white dove

    Lets send the world this message sent right from the heart

     Then one day you never know we might help world peace to start

    A true child of the sixties. I have always felt the same, but was too young at that time to voice my opinion. By the time I was old enough (1975) the peace movement was over and the me, me generation had begun. I guess it's never too late, right? Good poem, TS
