Being an equipment operator in a big gold mine in Alaska, might lead you to think I'm an unlikely poet....actually, I've been writing poetry for as far back as I can remember. But poetry is only one of my many hobbies. I also write songs, play a veriety of stringed instraments, build fishing rods, tie flies, do wood working, and crafts. I've even been known to do a quilt or two with hand stitched embroidery. I enjoy hunting, fly fishing, and camping, or anything else involving my family.
