Gail Mackey, fifty years old, writes poetry, short stories, fiction and nonfiction. working on my first book "Project Bio", hoping to complete it by mid summer 2009. I also write fantasy and will have a piece published by the "Fantasy Gazetteer.com" within the next month. I have poetry on Helium.com and poetry.com. I've been writing since 1999, and have many articles published on Helium.com under gmpateek as well. I'm the mother of four sons and many grandchildren, I'm engaged to my most advid supporter and we look forward to starting our own literary business. I was born in chicago Illinois and have lived here my whole life. I absolutly love writing because it is infinite. I also enjoy hearing stories from family and friends and threading my own spin through them. I hope to one day become a well known writer in a versitile genre.
