Pretend the life

Pretend the life

I dont want sympathy
but understanding
well it would be so freeing
I dont want a look of concern
but if you'd hold me
maybe you would learn
that my emotions go deeper
then this look on my face
my pain is so much wider
than all this empty space
and for once I know how it feels
to color outside the lines
life is never easy
especially yours and mine
I wonder which is the bigger deception
to pretend the life
or to let the truth hide

Very philosophically spiritual, (or, should I say Godly)? A most important issue to tackle and face head-on! Walk the walk, or sit down, otherwise we just get in the way of that which is virtuous and lovely. Bravo!!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
