Queen
She doesn’t have to worry. He is always there.
He is her grenadier guard.
Her provider
Her very best friend.
He is her therapist.
He is her pillow.
Her needs are always met.
He gives her anything she could ever want or think of.
He asks no questions, but simply does.
She is happy.
He makes her feel wanted.
He makes her feel needed.
She is valued.
A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
