    Poem Commentary

The quiet night I had every monday before the garbage truck come

    Quiet Night

    A few falling leaves
    The sound of sweeping
    Slack.. Slack...Slack
    A car passed by
    The light were so bright
    Right there in my face
A man with the hoop shirt is walking
    Tick tock.. tick tock..
Another man with luch box passed by
    Good morning, he said
    Good morning I replied
    The time seem stopped
    Click.. clack, click .. clack
    A hugemongous pile of leaves
    Early Tuesday morning
    My routine duty

    Teardrops commented on Quiet Night

Life at times is smiple and full of joy maybe simple is not always bad

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
