    "No More Holocausts"

    Stone cold monument
    taking joy, from life.
    One Holy Presence,
    demands a sacrifice.

    Hearts turning slowly,
    from the Face of Love.
    How can this be,
    What was He thinking of?

    Kidnapped from innocence;
    with dreams torn apart,
    I tripped in His Presence,
    over my broken heart.

    How could I begin to approach
    His Holy Light?
    All my good intentions
    couldn't cleanse me in His sight.

    With a wave of His Hand,
    I cannot forget;
    on a cross I saw man,
    and before that cross I knelt.

    He said,"This is My Promise,
    My Blood will cover you-
    you will be my witness,
    that My Love is ever true.

    "No more holocausts;
    no more agony,
    you will find nothing is lost,
    when you find your life, in Me.

    your peace already cost a Life,
    the price for it was won.
    By the Perfect Sacrifice,
    the lay in the Heart of My Son.

    In the Battle of the Ages,
    no child will lost.
    Though hell and heaven rages,
    no more Holocausts.

    lovely, humane and composed with the true spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ. I wish it reaches the ears and minds of the Israelis and Zionists to put an end to their Holocaust against the Palestinians of the Land of Canaan (Palestine) since April 1948 till now.

    A very well written poem from your inner self. A lot of us need to find the Narrow Path, through Jesus to Heaven. Thanks for sharing, a reminder !

    even this freedom was not free... mysterianne' thanks, mark

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
