Recovery is a life time thing and it can be hard,
if you aren’t willing to do the work.
I am now in Recovery finding a new way of living clean.
See when I was out there running the streets,
I was chasing the friends, drugs, and money.
It was work for me to keep my dream of being the Queen of my life.
If I wanted the drug I would find away
to get it one way or the other.
Now here in Recovery I have to want it one way
or the other to get it.
See when I was out on the street’s
I would talk to other people to find the drug.
So here in Recovery I need to talk to other
Addict’s to get this Recovery and
Live it, walk it, and
Tell a new-comer about it.

So you see the people I expected not to help me
Or kick me when I was down was the ones to
Help me get back up…
